This is a brief overview of several monitoring services. Each review is based on continuous uploads of power usage from 30 circuits and temperature from 24 sensors. Data were collected and uploaded from November 2012 to February 2013.
Each section contains screenshots of the web interface, screenshots of the mobile application (if available), outline of the setup process, and observations about the service.

The Service Availability section contains a summary of upload errors encountered over a 60 day period. This provides a very general idea of the quality of service that can be expected from each vendor.

The table below lists the errors for the 60 day period ending 25 feb 2013. The upload for most sites was data from 8 Brultech ECM-1240 devices consisting of 30 channels of power/energy data. Some sites such as PVOutput and PeoplePower are whole-house monitoring only, so uploads to those were only a few channels.
